SEAL Team Eight: Behind Enemy Lines features a few great scene-opening shots of the SEALs in position, but is an otherwise awful film. What starts off as a potentially interesting plot devolves into a ridiculous scenario of one (caucasian) SEAL going Rambo-style against an entire African city. If you’re looking for a cheap action flick, this might fit the bill. Or if you would like to see Africans caricatured from an ignorant American perspective, this could do the trick for that too. But don’t watch this one hoping for an accurate depiction of SEAL combat such as what is found in Lone Survivor or Zero Dark Thirty.
